Drive It All Over Me by My Bloody Valentine

Loveless and Isn’t Anything are a perfect pair of LPs. Very different from MBV’s earlier stuff.
The posted song is on the You Made Me Realise EP. It’s my favorite song of theirs that isn’t on the aforementioned LPs.
Something about the bass on the chorus makes it work for me.
Saw them a few months ago. Belinda is smoking hot still. They do this feedback/loop jamout at the end of the set that puts you back in the womb for 20 minutes.

gui boratto’s no turning back is probably my fave song right now
4/3/09 11:07 AM
and the reason why
4/3/09 11:07 AM
is at 4:40
4/3/09 11:07 AM
he uses this songwriting techinque
4/3/09 11:07 AM
where he plays a simple melody
4/3/09 11:07 AM
and the chords in the background change
4/3/09 11:07 AM
even tho the melody jsut repeats
4/3/09 11:07 AM
but it’s catchy
4/3/09 11:08 AM
because the chords behind the melody shed different light on the melody when they change
4/3/09 11:08 AM
we need to do this
4/3/09 11:08 AM
and i think we did on one of the practice session tracks
